Giles County Trail Center

In May 2024, the Giles County Trail Center at the historic Mountain Lake Lodge in Giles County, Virginia, officially opened its doors to visitors. This thoughtfully designed 3,000 square foot facility features a grand entry constructed by the team at Blue Ridge Timberwrights. On the rear of the building, a timber framed stair structure leads to the apartments on the second floor.  Located at the center of 20 miles of trails, the public restrooms with changing areas is a welcome reprieve to the weary and the available trail maps, itineraries and brochures offer boundless information for those just setting out on their journey.  The trail center serves as a central hub for outdoor enthusiasts to explore the natural beauty of Giles County
and the New River Valley.
