Faith Community Church

In December 2024, Faith Community Church began services in their new building, a 6,400-square-foot timber frame located in Woodstock, Georgia. This unique
structure is a combination of classic design and modern engineering. The timber frame consists of nearly 700 Douglas Fir timbers that are joined to create trusses
that span the 72’ wide sanctuary without any mid span posts. Huge 10x14x40’ solid wood rafters frame the ceiling and massive 10×20 posts outline the walls. The
steel tie rods feature a cross shaped turnbuckle in the center and are necessary for the performance of these trusses. Multiple teams collaborated with Blue Ridge
Timberwrights to make this dream a reality for the members of this worship community.
