The Rustic Barn at Half Moon

Blue Ridge Timberwrights collaborated with The Rustic Barn at Half Moon to build one of the most sizable event venues in eastern North Carolina. The state-of-the-art venue is situated on 149 acres of towering trees, expansive lawns, and serene water features. This family-run business now caters to military soirees, corporate events, weddings, and family celebrations. The beautiful space offers both a combination of interior and exterior options for a variety of functions. The barn has a center banquet area (over 6,000 square feet) that dazzles with a crystal chandelier and is constructed of massive Douglas fir trusses that span 46’ clear. On each side of the event space, there are 20’ wings that establish the covered patio and luxurious bridal lounges, both symmetrical with 2,700 square feet of area. The facility also offers a timber frame pavilion. The Rustic Barn opened in 2020 and is now booking events year-round.
