Virginia Tech Duck Pond Gazebo
The Duck Pond has been a Virginia Tech landmark for generations in Blacksburg, Virginia. The classes of 1988 and 1989 organized an effort to have the Duck Pond Gazebo built. It is a peaceful and harmonious spot where students, alumni, and visitors can study, feed the birds, or merely sit and take in the beauty of the Duck Pond throughout the seasons.
The Virginia Tech Duck Pond Gazebo is 24′ from flat to flat (it fits neatly in a square of 24’x24′) or nearly 26′ from point to point, with each flat of the eight sides being nearly 12′. It has a footprint of 477 sq. ft.
